The lady with Grace - Ms. Sakshi Sharma

Type 1 star with poise, sunshine and simplicity with the ultimate goal of a more effective and efficient life is to nurture yourself, have enough time and enjoy some of it Sakshi Sharma, 19 years old pretty young girl from Jammu, a state in India which is known for its lush green nature and breathtaking view. As a beautiful place, the people there are simple, however the lack of facilities is still a concern and that is how it keeps a difference from metropolitan cities. This also hampered Sakshi's diagnosis and education of type 1 diabetes. She says she has been living with diabetes for the past 14 years now, and managing her diabetes according to her physician's recommendation whereas diabetes treatment has come a long way, from MDI to Pump therapy everything in diabetes management requires awareness and education which she lacked in.

But things changed for her as she moved to Delhi, India’s capital for her higher studies. She is meeting people who have helped her understand her condition better and manage it properly.

Sakshi has never hidden her condition from the society and never stopped herself from flaunting her diabetes devices as she knows, more who will see will learn about the condition and hence She can make the difference.
