Mastery over diabetes – Mr. Piara Singh

Police inspector all his serving life with Chandigarh Police. Diabetes never stopped me. In 35 years of being Type 1 – every day was meaningful. I did my duty, caught thieves, solved robberies but never felt low because I am diabetic.

Piara singh refused to take easy and soft postings because of being T. Type 1.

I always thought of seizing the moment and be an example to others. I had 3 children, and all are without diabetes. Yes, sometimes my wife did feel bad that I must take injections every day, but I never allowed diabetes to take control of me. During time better awareness has allowed me to make better choices and when one makes better choices than there are better results.
