Laxmi Kant Tiwari – Will power, motivation and commitment to do something gives him momentum he needs

He just dreamt of being a successful doctor, left home in village at his 11th standard to fulfil his dream. Laxmi kant Tiwari, a decent, intelligent, and aspiring student giving his wholehearted dedication to his studies for medicals. The time he gave the initial start to his dream, he found out about his Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis. It was a major setback for him however he, unlike other people living with type 1 diabetes, is quite positive and motivated. He says, it's just a matter of the pancreas which can’t produce insulin and hence people living with diabetes have to take it externally. However, the social stigma around diabetes is something that hampers him.

Kota, a hub for all the aspirants of engineering and medicals, is known for its coaching centres which has helped many lives to live and fulfil their dreams to be a doctor or an engineer. The same city is now helping Laxmikant to guide him in achieving his goal along with the daily struggles that he has to face living alone and along with type 1 diabetes.
